While the production of Fringe was started in the Boston & NYC areas, the series was moved to the Vancouver area after the first season. Many seasons of The_X-Files were done around Vancouver from the start, then it was moved to LA for the 2nd half of its run.
Stanley_Park is Vancouver's largest park & happens to look like the top half of a Seahorse.
So its very fitting that FRINGE was moved to Vancouver.
