There doesn't seem to be an official explanation as to why symbolic twin_towers were incorporated into the complex by 1000 & 911 years CE. Of course, twin towers are a common reoccurring theme throughout building history.

John_Lennon grew up seeing this building with its twin towers as the tallest in the city. He would eventually move to NYC, home of the worlds tallest twin towers. Although, he lived far north of them in the Dakota. Architect Emery_Roth started a company that would eventually design the WTC. However, his fascination with twin towers went back almost 40 years before they were built. The_Beresford opened in 1929 & is perhaps the first twin tower project designed by Emery_Roth. He also designed buildings with twin_towers north & south of the Dakota.
