THE COMET'S NAMESAKE
"Halley succeeded John Flamsteed in 1720 as Astronomer Royal, a position Halley held until his death in 1742 at the age of 85."
Officially this is suppose to be just a coincidence, but many also perceive Mark Twain's death as a synchronicity with the returning comet.
If one is too skeptical about things like coincidence and synchronicity, astrology, numerology & Kabbalah they might filter out a lot of data. Then again, lots of people constantly live their life filtering out any unnecessary data. A lot of people don't realize that a database is compiled for most of the worlds population. Those in very remote or impoverished areas might never be in any digital database. However for the majority, any personal data is collected as this is the progression of information technology.
Since ancient times, some people have had a concept of a cosmic database, otherwise known as the akashic records.

Long before there was the Oracle Corporation, there was the ancient concept of the oracle & they didn't require a DVI.
The concept of the crystal ball is an ancient idea with a modern adaptation. In the early 21st century, 3D & holographic technology is a common thing, its just not available everywhere. How did some people in ancient times have the concept of perceiving 3D images within a sphere?
Part of the Snow_White story refers to a talking magic mirror. This was written in a time long before the LED TV & the iPad. Today its no big deal to have a magic mirror, phone or computer talking back to you & of course you can ask it many questions. .:.
What if each galaxy is like its own DVD or hybrid drive interconnected with something like a cosmic Internet?

No matter how much evidence or theories of a larger entangled cosmos, various patterns will still be perceived as simple coincidence, rather than a pattern of synchronicity.
Of course at a certain point many people realize that a pattern of synchronicity is much more than a coincidence. The interesting thing is, that as more vast amounts of data is stored in a supercomputer, a fascinating 3D program can be created. Such a program is best to run in full virtual-reality mode. This VR program wouldn't prove that the universe is a simulation, but an Earth Simulator would provide astounding clues about reality through supercomputing.
